Homeowner consultation, planting, maintenance workshop, and evaluation :: Evergreen Canada and Habitat for Humanity
This is a pilot project between Evergreen Canada and Habitat for Humanity. The project involves assessing Habitat homeowner needs and opportunities for incorporating edible and ecological landscaping elements, incorporating elements into a plan for the site, working with homeowners to landscape the site according to the plan, teaching homeowners how to maintain their properties, and evaluating the program.

Green Communities Guide :: for Land Stewardship Centre of Canada
This project involves identifying key environmental issues facing the development community & municipalities, compiling case studies of best management practices and policies that demonstrate or encourage greener urban and rural development, and producing a reference guide for land planners and developers.

Constructed Wetland Assessment :: for Stantec and Dundee Developments
Assessed vegetation naturalization, water quality, and sedimentation; made recommendations to help improve future wetland designs; conducted a public perception survey of residents living adjacent to the constructed wetland.

Saunders Lake Open Space Planning & Shoreline Condition Mapping ::
for EDA Collaborative and Leduc County

Summarized existing information on Saunders Lake and provided recommendations for the open space framework; conducted a shoreline condition mapping exercise based on air photo and satellite imagery interpretation.

Environmental Project Planning Support to Watershed Stewardship Groups ::
Land Stewardship Centre of Canada & Alberta Stewardship Network

Provided project planning guidance to Watershed Stewardship Groups; helped groups get established, collaborate with stakeholders, and plan stewardship projects, including BMP project planning and watershed management planning.

Assessment of Wetland Soils, Hydrology, Vegetation, and Long-term Successional/Developmental Processes :: University of Waterloo
Studied long-term interaction of hydrology, climate, soils, and wetland succession on the development of a unique coastal freshwater wetland community in Mexico.

Designing Nature Interpretation Programs and Writing Natural History Interpretation Publications :: Parks Canada
Developed extension programs, publications, and signage on various natural history topics to motivate environmental awareness and action.
